Dans un week-end, il y a forcément des ratés. Des gens, des joueurs, des tables qui passent au travers des mailles du filet de ce coverage. Et la table 16, tout au fond, là bas, loin de l'ordinateur de votre serviteur, elle a une bonne tête de petite sardine. Alors pourquoi ne pas y aller tout de suite ?
Bon, faut bien l'avouer, une heure à peine dans le tournoi, il ne se passe encore rien de très intéressant. Juste de quoi vous raconter que -pour le moment- Juju (Chicago PC, hoodie noir face au board) semble avoir pris le meilleur départ à la table, et que g2bor (Versailles Texas Hold'em, à sa gauche) semble en avoir fait les frais.
Oh, rien de définitif hein. On parle d'un swing de quelque 5k jetons par rapport au stack de 25k de départ. Sur des blinds 200-500, les joueurs ont encore bien le temps de monter (et démonter) de belles piles de jetons.

Thomas 'crazypok17' Bonnefous (Ligue Rochelaise de Poker, en image) n'est pas passé loin de la correctionnelle. Après avoir bataillé contre Alain 'LAINLAIN' Marty (Haillan Poker Tour) et avoir décidé d'engager tous ses jetons sur la rivière, il pensait bien être éliminé en voyant un brelan de dix chez son adversaire.
Applaudissements de la table, de la salle, du staff... Premier éliminé ? FALSE ALARM !
Car Crazypok17 ne l'avait pas vue. La quinte. Oh punaise, quinte ! J'ai quinte ? Ah, ben...
Hop, en selle ! Thomas est reparti de plus belle dans son SnG. Lainlain, lui, s'est lui éloigné quelques instants de la table. Le temps que sa persistance rétinienne ne lui fasse plus voir cette fichue quinte à chaque fois qu'il ouvre les yeux.

« Eh la pause elle est dans 2h20 c'est ça ? Mais vous voulez tuer les fumeurs ou quoi ? »
Lui, c'est Youn. Grand gaillard en train (déjà) de brieffer un de ses joueurs. Ca fait des années qu'on ne l'a pas vu sur une compétition du CdC ou de la FFPA. Et quand on le lui dit, sa réponse est toute trouvée : « Ouais, c'est sûrement parce que j'ai arrêté depuis des années. Et comme par hasard, je reviens, on se qualifie ! »
Et Youn, donc, on ne l'a pas oublié ! En effet, le Haillan Poker Tour, club historique de feu le CdC, était un grand habitué des finales C.N.E.C. à l'époque : sept qualifications lors des dix premières éditions ! Mais depuis de longues années, les aquitains manquaient leur huitième qualif. C'est désormais chose faite, et on est ravis de revoir Youness trainer autour des tables !
Note de service : Pour Youn et pour les autres, si vous aviez oublié : venez SURTOUT PAS me dire une bêtise, vous êtes à peu près sûrs que vous allez retrouver votre tronche par ici.

Cette année malheureusement, notre talentueuse photographe officielle n'a pas pu rejoindre le staff sur cette finale. Heureusement, Jérôme 'Burd' Fouché, armé de son plus beau smartphone, trainera autour des tables pour montrer les trognes de vos chouchous sur ces deux jours.
Alors oui, c'est sûr, ils ne seront sans doute pas aussi beaux que si Queen of Diamonds leur avait tiré le portrait... Mais Burd, s'il n'a pas le talent et le matériel de Queen, a néanmoins un ENORME sac rempli de bonne volonté, de motivation, et d'envie de bien faire !
