La pause repas est à l'instant annoncée par Alain, directeur de tournoi de cette finale. Les joueurs encore en course se dirigeaient vers le buffet quand je cherchais la dernière table encore en cours.
Je tombais alors sur Daniela 'MANHI' Lapedra Ganeva, avec des cartes en main. J'espérais fort que la joueuse du Haillan Poker Tour remporte le coup, car en face se trouvait Dimitri 'adeziff' Halliez (Ligue Rochelaise de Poker), dont on a déjà longuement parlé hier.
Je décidais donc de me concentrer sur Daniela, mais fus fort désappointé quand je la vis jeter ses cartes dans le muck pour rejoindre ses compères autour des tables extérieures. Elle abandonne un stack de 11,5k pour la prochaine heure. Tant pis, on titre sur elle. On a déjà assez tiré sur l'Adeziff.
Au général, le Gâtine PTet l'Arène PC se détachent (légèrement) grâce à leur présence au complet. Le Versailles TH, le Haillan PT, la Team Come Back et le Ressons As PC complètent ce club des six encore à huit.

Toujours à la recherche d'un petit coup sympa à raconter, la table 16 (celle du bout-du-monde) m'offrait une occasion de vous parler du Poker Club Vellave. Ces derniers parlent (aussi) beaucoup de nous sur leurs réseaux, il faut leur rendre la pareille !
Au bouton, Eric 'Ritchie' Jurine (Poker Club Vellave, donc) ouvrait à 1300 sur des blinds à 600. Il trouvait à qui parler en BB, puisqu'un joueur de l'Eu Texas Hold'em décidait de 3bet à 4,6k jetons. Après réflexion, Ritchie acceptait l'invitation, et rencontrait un flop Q69, que son adversaire s'empressait, sans attendre, de miser.
3600 jetons demandés. Nouvelle réflexion pour Ritchie, qui payait à nouveau, pour afficher un 2 de carreau, offrant un deuxième diamant avec la dame déjà affichée.
A nouveau, sans trop tarder, la BB essayait de se défaire d'eric en avançant cette fois 9k jetons. Mais après avoir pesé le pour et le contre, le ponot décidait de pousser ses 20k+ au milieu. Cette fois, c'est Eu qui subit la pression. Une pression qui fit craqueler l'Eu, provoquant un muck presqu'aussi rapide que les mises flop et turn. Ritchie, après avoir pris les blinds les deux mains suivantes, émargeait à 45k+, quand son adversaire, lui, redescendait à 20k.
Au rang des infos sur les deux clubs en question dans cette histoire, l'Eu TH a déjà perdu deux représentants et glisse dans le ventre mou de cette finale, et NONOJUJU (PC Vellave) ne réalisera pas le triplé après avoir été éliminé en huitième position ce matin.

A l'approche des derniers instants, vous aurez surement envie de savoir au plus vite où en sont les copains. De la même manière, il est très pratique pour les joueurs de pouvoir jeter un oeil au classement en une seconde.
C'est pour ça que Gabriel Fischer aménage un stream en direct sur twitch, consultable sur le site de la FFPA sous Coverage > Finales CFEPA > Finale CFEPA 2024 > Classement en direct. Consultez le aussi souvent que nécessaire, c'est du bon, du frais, directement du producteur au consommateur (ou plutôt du PC de gestion à votre terminal numérique de communication).

Bon, en fait l'idée c'était de dire plutôt l'inverse. A savoir qu'Eu Texas Hold'em peut compter sur Etienne Prigent, qui vient d'empiler quelques jetons devant moi, grâce à deux coups successifs. Mais "Eu peut compter sur Etienne", ça sonne moins bien que "Etienne peut compter sur Eu", nan ?

Allez, parlons un peu poker. A l'approche de la table 4, un flop 100% trèfle TJ7 attirait mon oeil. Les 8k jetons déjà au pot ne faisaient que confirmer mon intérêt. Je trouvais alors Vincent 'Tintin' Vallée (Poker Club Vellave) en SB, qui avait décidé de flat l'iso d'Etienne, suite à un premier limp. Le limper s'étant carapaté, Tintin décidait d'ouvrir à 3,6k.
Au CO, Etienne, bien au chaud avec son As moyen lui offrant flush max, décidait de flat, révélant un roi de pique à la turn.
Pas impressionné par le barbu, Tintin décidait d'envoyer ses 5,5k jetons restants au milieu avec ses reines (dont une à trèfle). Point de peur pour Etienne, qui se précipitait pour doubler et laisser tintin pleurer tel milou devant un arbre coupé, avec 9k jetons restants.
La main suivante fut l'occasion pour Anonymous2 de transférer un peu de jetons à Etienne : ce dernier décida de 3bet le raise de Nicolas Ducher, pour trouver un board qui gela toute action : AAK 7 2. (Encore) le bon moment pour avoir un petit As pour Etienne !
Mais les trois checks sur les trois streets révélèrent, ironie du sort, QQ dans la main de notre héros, contre 99 dans celle de Nicolas. Le joueur de l'ETH grimpe à un petit 40k en à peine cinq minutes. Y'a de quoi sourire !
